Location: 31 West 1st Street, Cookeville, TN

Description: At 12:15  today, August 1st, 2010 an open discussion was held with the Reverend Barry Whittemore to determine what an eighth time minister would provide for the Congregation, what it would cost, and what we could expect.

A written request to the UUCC board was made by members at the discussion, per the UUCC bylaws, to conduct a Special Congregational Meeting on August 8th for the purpose of a Congregational vote to hire the Reverend Barry Whittemore as an eighth-time minister. Since all of the Board members were present, it was decided to hold a Special Congregational Meeting, next Sunday, August 8th, at noon, for the purpose of voting up or down the hiring of the reverend Barry Whittemore as an eighth time Minister for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cookeville.

Pot Luck Sundays

We hold pot luck services when we don’t have a speaker or minister service scheduled. They are a way for us to share fellowship and get to know each other a little better in a relaxed setting. There’s always plenty of food, so if it’s your first visit don’t feel you need to bring a dish.
